Cinder returns in the second thrilling installment of the New York Times-bestselling Lunar Chronicles. She’s trying to break out of prison—even though if she succeeds, she’ll be the Commonwealth’s most wanted fugitive.
Halfway around the world, Scarlet Benoit’s grandmother is missing. It turns out there are many things Scarlet doesn’t know about her grandmother and the grave danger she has lived in her whole life. When Scarlet encounters Wolf, a street fighter who may have information as to her grandmother’s whereabouts, she has no choice but to trust him, though he clearly has a few dark secrets of his own.
As Scarlet and Wolf work to unravel one mystery, they find another when they cross paths with Cinder. Together, they must stay one step ahead of the vicious Lunar Queen who will do anything to make Prince Kai her husband, her king, her prisoner.
OKAY, I’ve been waiting for this one for a while now, and I CANNOT WAIT for it to come out on February. It’s release date is February 5th 2013, but I need to have this book in my hands right now. Marissa Meyer’s fist installment in the Lunar Chronicles was genius! It was pretty predictable a times, but still, it was pretty frickin amazing. I stayed up late and even postponed food so I could read this book. Yeah, it was just that good. I mean, anyone who knows me knows that I don’t turn down food. For anything.
For those who don’t know, this is the second installment to Marissa Meyer’s The Lunar Chronicles series. It’s about a cyborg/mechanic in New Beijing who was donated by her step mother to scientist as an experiment subject to help find the cure for an illness. In between all experiments and taking blood samples, she meets and falls in love with Prince Kai.
I was really upset to find out that this book isn’t going to be in Cinder’s perspective! Personally, I’m not a fan of book with changing perspective, so I hope that Marissa makes the book so good that I look past that. Other than that I’m really exited to read this book! I just can’t wait to see Prince Kai again! I’ve yet to read the Lunar Chronicle’s .5 and 1.5, Glitches and The Queens Army, but I’ll get on that as soon as I can!
Again guys, this is the second installment to The Lunar Chronicles by : Marissa Meyer. So if you have the chance, read it! It was very good!
