Waiting on Wednesday! (#3)

Cinder returns in the second thrilling installment of the New York Times-bestselling Lunar Chronicles. She’s trying to break out of prison—even though if she succeeds, she’ll be the Commonwealth’s most wanted fugitive.

Halfway around the world, Scarlet Benoit’s grandmother is missing. It turns out there are many things Scarlet doesn’t know about her grandmother and the grave danger she has lived in her whole life. When Scarlet encounters Wolf, a street fighter who may have information as to her grandmother’s whereabouts, she has no choice but to trust him, though he clearly has a few dark secrets of his own.

As Scarlet and Wolf work to unravel one mystery, they find another when they cross paths with Cinder. Together, they must stay one step ahead of the vicious Lunar Queen who will do anything to make Prince Kai her husband, her king, her prisoner.

OKAY, I’ve been waiting for this one for a while now, and I CANNOT WAIT for it to come out on February. It’s release date is February 5th 2013, but I need to have this book in my hands right now. Marissa Meyer’s fist installment in the Lunar Chronicles was genius! It was pretty predictable a times, but still, it was pretty frickin amazing. I stayed up late and even postponed food so I could read this book. Yeah, it was just that good. I mean, anyone who knows me knows that I don’t turn down food. For anything.

For those who don’t know, this is the second installment to Marissa Meyer’s The Lunar Chronicles series. It’s about a cyborg/mechanic in New Beijing who was donated by her step mother to scientist as an experiment subject to help find the cure for an illness. In between all experiments and taking blood samples, she meets and falls in love with Prince Kai.

I was really upset to find out that this book isn’t going to be in Cinder’s perspective! Personally, I’m not a fan of book with changing perspective, so I hope that Marissa makes the book so good that I look past that. Other than that I’m really exited to read this book! I just can’t wait to see Prince Kai again! I’ve yet to read the Lunar Chronicle’s .5 and 1.5, Glitches and The Queens Army, but I’ll get on that as soon as I can!

Again guys, this is the second installment to The Lunar Chronicles by : Marissa Meyer. So if you have the chance, read it! It was very good!

Waiting on Wednesday (#2)

Danger intensifies for the Shadowhunters as the New York Times bestselling Infernal Devices trilogy comes to a close.

If the only way to save the world was to destroy what you loved most, would you do it?

The clock is ticking. Everyone must choose.

Passion. Power. Secrets. Enchantment.

Danger closes in around the Shadowhunters in the final installment of the bestselling Infernal Devices trilogy.

——————————————-

The book I’ve been waiting for is Cassandra Clare’s third and last Infernal Devices book, Clockwork Princess. The book comes out March 19th 2013! I really can’t wait! I’ve been waiting since I read and finished Clockwork Prince in January and that was eleven months ago. I loved the cover when I first saw it, which was when they first posted it up. I have to admit I fangirled a lot, so much that I called three different people and had full discussions on it.

I can’t wait to see how it all ends. I’m also going to miss it a lot when it ends. Seriously! where will I get my daily dose of William Herondale! This will be such a tragedy for me!

There was so many questions I had at the end of Clockwork Prince. Is Tessa going to be with Will or Jem? How is this Cecily thing going to be? How is it that in the prequel to the mortal instruments there’s a girl named Emma Carstairs? There was so many questions that I hope will be answered in Clockwork Princess and that’s why I’m waiting for it to be published so badly.

I have to admit I didn’t think I had much to say on why I was waiting for this book. I guess there was a lot of pent up emotions.
